Making sugar flowers requires patience, diligence, preparation and concentration. All things that I am sorely lacking!!
It has been an interesting learning experience to try to create something from nature that is complex and beautiful. I would
never presume to be able to replicate it, but trying to come anywhere near it has been a fun challenge.

purse handle, lipstick, compact and the adornments on the cake such as the gold flower, zipper, and buckle are all made
from gumpaste.
The three pictures below are sugar sculptures I made for my niece's first birthday. Pooh, Lumpy, Piglet, balloons,
gift and blankets are all hand made out of gumpaste/fondant combo.
